POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Brand Marketing Manager to join our NYX Professional Makeup team in the Consumer Products Division of L’Oreal USA.
The Manager of Global Brand Marketing will support the development and execution of global brand marketing campaigns while leading community-focused initiatives across key audiences. This role will help translate cultural and consumer insights into relevant campaigns, partnerships and activations that strengthen brand relevance and drive growth.
The ideal candidate is a strong marketer with a passion for culture and community, solid project management skills and can collaborate effectively across teams and agency partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Strategy and Development:
* Lead with a community-first approach to develop and and execute the overarching community strategy across key communities, including Black, Latin, Gen M and LGBTQ+ consumers.
* Identify cultural, consumer and market insights to uncover opportunities to recruit, engage and grow these communities.
* Build community plans that support NYX brand priorities and drive recruitment and relevance.
* Identify emerging cultural opportunities to evolve the strategy.
Campaign Management:
* Contribute to campaign concepts and creative development.
* Develop creative briefs in partnership with the brand marketing director.
* Manage day-to-day execution with internal teams and external agency partners.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
* Partner closely with Product Marketing, product Development, creative, social, digital and zones to ensure strong execution of brand and community initiatives.
* Drive alignment and timely execution across stakeholders.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
* Track performance of community initiatives and campaigns against defined KPIs.
* Leverage consumer insights and market feedback to identify learnings and optimization opportunities.
* Translate learnings into recommendations for future community and campaign plans.
Brand Guardianship:
* Ensure all community initiatives and campaign executions are consistent with NYX brand strategy, identity and standards.
* Partner with the brand marketing director and cross-functional teams to protect brand consistency and cultural authenticity across touchpoints.
New Initiatives and Innovation:
* Identify emerging cultural trends, communities, platforms and partnerships that can unlock new growth and relevance for NYX.
* Propose new community led initiatives and activation opportunities based on consumer and cultural insights.
Stakeholder Communication:
* Share clear updates on community initiatives, campaigns and performance.
* Support the brand marketing director in leadership presentations and strategic updates.
* Manage day-to-day relationships with agency partners.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* Education: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required. An MBA or a related master’s degree is a significant advantage.
* Experience: 2 to 5 years of p experience in brand marketing or integrated marketing, ideally within beauty or consumer brands. Experience in community/cultural marketing is a plus
* Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to turn consumer and cultural insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
* Campaign Management Expertise: Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns and managing project from brief through execution.
* Communication Skills: strong written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to develop clear and compelling briefs.
* Data Fluency: comfortable using data and performance insights to inform recommendations and optimize campaigns.
* Collaboration: strong cross-functional collaborator, able to build productive relationships with internal teams and external partners.
* Adaptability: Resilient and resourceful, thriving in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Must possess a willingness to embrace change and navigate ambiguity effectively.
Salary Range: 90k-128k base + bonus
