Supply Planning Manager

We are seeking a Supply Planning Manager to join our Operations team to support CPD, reporting to the CPD Supply Chain Director.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage the Supply Planning team, ensuring the development of talent and the achievement of operational excellence within the planning function.
- Drive the Supply Planning process for the division, ensuring alignment with global standards and local business requirements to meet service level targets.
- Act as a key contributor to the monthly S&OP cycles, providing accurate supply visibility, identifying potential risks, and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Optimize inventory health by balancing service levels, stock cover, and costs. Focus on minimizing slow-mover/obsolete (E&O) inventory and optimizing warehouse capacity.
- Manage the relationship with international factories and global supply chain teams to ensure reliable inbound flows and prioritize requirements during periods of supply constraint.
- Champion sustainability within the supply chain by aligning with the L'Oréal for the Future program, focusing on CO2 reduction in transport and zero-waste initiatives.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on planning automation, data accuracy, and the implementation of advanced planning tools to enhance agility of multiple storage locations while maintaining healthy stock and Service rate to our customers.
- Collaborate closely with Demand Planning, Customer Care, KASC team and Distribution Centres to ensure a seamless end-to-end supply chain outcome for our customers in Australia and New Zealand.
Required Experience & Skills:
- In-depth experience in supply planning or a similar role, with a proven track record of managing planning teams, ideally within an FMCG, Beauty, or Retail environment.
- Expert knowledge of planning processes, specifically S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) and IBP (Integrated Business Planning).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable supply strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a focus on coaching, continuous improvement, and driving a high-performance culture.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical supply chain information to diverse business audiences.
- Strong prioritization and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain agile and effective in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Financial acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset to drive cost-effective supply chain solutions.
