We are looking for a strategic and agile Commercial / O+O (Online + Offline) Controller to act as a key financial business partner to our commercial and omnichannel sales teams in Taiwan. In this role, you will drive financial performance, optimize omnichannel profitability, and ensure rigorous control over trade investments, pricing, and promotional spending across both digital platforms and brick-and-mortar retail networks.
Key Responsibilities

- Partner closely with commercial, e-commerce, and retail teams to evaluate channel performance, growth drivers, and profitability across online platforms (e.g., e-retailers, direct-to-consumer) and offline retail networks.
- Analyze channel mix, customer P&Ls, and return on investment (ROI) for digital marketing, platform commissions, and traditional trade investments.
- Provide financial guidance on pricing strategies, channel mix, and commercial conditions to maximize profitability.
- Support strategic commercial negotiations with key retail and e-commerce partners by providing financial modeling and margin simulations.
- Go beyond mere reporting, demonstrating a deep curiosity to investigate "behind the numbers" and deliver profound, actionable insights to management.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor monthly closing, net sales, gross-to-net dynamics, and commercial expenses against targets and forecasts.
- Deliver insightful variance analyses and actionable recommendations to management to optimize top-line growth and Customer Contribution profitability.
- Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) specific to O+O retail, such as commercial spending evaluation and promotional efficiency.
- Budgeting, Forecasting & Controlling
- Lead the financial planning cycles (budgeting, rolling forecasts, and strategic plans) for commercial and O+O channels.
- Manage and control trade spending, cooperative advertising budgets (Co-Op), and point-of-sale investments, ensuring alignment with corporate financial guardrails.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities early, proposing mitigation plans to secure financial commitments.
- Internal Control & Process Optimization
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies, local statutory regulations, and group financial standards.
- Drive continuous improvement by digitalizing financial reports, automating data analysis, and enhancing O+O dashboard reporting.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Experience: 6 to 10 years of relevant financial controlling or commercial finance experience, preferably within FMCG, retail, e-commerce, beauty, pharmaceutical or a similar fast-paced industry.

- Soft Skills: Excellent business acumen and stakeholder management skills. Able to challenge stakeholders constructively and translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights for non-finance partners.
- Languages: Professional fluency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin.
