Your missions 

This is a generic job posting for all Data opportunities at L'Oréal. Our data roles span across different paths, for example Data Product Owner, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, etc. Don't worry if your profile doesn't tick every box below: the HR interview is precisely to guide you toward the role that fits you best!

Your Responsibilities (Examples depending on your placement) As a member of one of our Data teams, your concrete responsibilities will depend on the specific role and team you are assigned to. Depending on your focus, you may participate in:

• Data Analysis & Exploration: Cleaning and exploring datasets to identify trends and business opportunities.
• Predictive Modeling & AI: Developing Machine Learning models (customer segmentation, sales forecasting, etc.) to drive decision-making.
• Visualization & Communication: Designing interactive dashboards and presenting impactful recommendations to business stakeholders.
• Data Engineering: Contributing to the design and maintenance of data pipelines and structuring databases.
• Collaboration & Project Framing: Gathering business requirements and acting as a bridge with technical teams.

Your profile

• Master’s student (Bac+4/5) from an engineering school, university, or business school (Data, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent), looking for a gap year or final-year internship.
• Fluent in both English and French.
• Solid technical foundations (Python, R, SQL, visualization tools, or engineering frameworks depending on your specialty).
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, curiosity, and excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
